Game Development in Unity

I am a Unity Game Developer. I have developed 2 of the major games live on play store and a lot of prototypes personally.

I have been fond of playing games since childhood. Need for speed 2, Age of empires 2 and midtown madness 2 are still my favourite games. And now Dota 2 is one of my favourite games. Just like Valve, 2 seems my favourite number surprisingly. So, besides playing games, I developed an interest in developing games during my sixth semester in University (2020), when the pandemic hit. I downloaded a book named Introduction to Game Design, prototyping and Development(2015). I started learning the basics and made a very simple Apple picker game project. Later, I discovered that Unity Premium Learn is free for a limited time that includes the C# survival guide by Johnathan weirbenger. I took the complete course and got a hang of Unity's workflow. Then I followed my passion even during the seventh semester alongside my university, and developed 2 Mini games, remastered versions of my childhood favourites, Bounce and Blast Thru. At that time, my final year project was around the corner so I decided to use unity in my fyp as well. So i made a simple car game and trained an AI model on it that was enough to get me through that with a good grade. Then at the university job fair during the last semester, I gave the interview for the position of Unity Developer in an organization named The knights. Since then my professional journey began (June 28, 2021). After almost one and a half years, I started to feel that the job life is too boring and I've to think out of the box. And then I started studying the detailed topics in game development such as Multiplayer games, VR games and a bunch of other techniques required to make large scaled games. And luckily my recent professional projects were required to be made from scratch which gave a perfect understanding of how to make a game from nothing. This is my journey and now I'm still exploring the multiplayer aspect of game development.
